In His Own Words:
I have been skiing since I was two years old and am beginning my 26th year of organized racing. In the last three years I have gone from being a full time racer to a father of two and a full time teacher, and I am still discovering and coming to terms with the limitations this places on my racing abilities. What I know so far is that I love both skiing and competition and I will continue with both for as long as am able. My goals for the 2008-09 season include beating lots of kids half my age at Nationals in January, skiing well enough at some Eastern Cup races to force use of the "Freeman Rule" (which essentially states that if someone wins by too large a margin you ignore them when calculating points), going skiing with my two-year-old a couple of times and getting her hooked on the sport, and finally winning the Craftsbury Marathon after a frustrating loss last year
