In Her Own Words:
My name is Laura McCabe, I live in the Methow Valley of Northern Washington. I am married to San McCabe (artist and teacher) and the mother of two beautiful, intelligent, strong girls Dashe age 2 and Novie age 7. I am a coach of Midgets, Juniors, and Master skiers. I love to ski, and enjoy sharing my passion of cross country skiing with others.
The movement associated with cross country skiing is wonderful, it is both smooth and beautiful, but what I like best about the sport are the people who make up the Nordic community. It is a sport that unites people of all ages, toddlers to 90 year olds can be seen out enjoying the trails on any given day. Skiing is a fun, exciting and healthy lifestyle, one I feel blessed and energized by. So have an incredible time on the trails this winter and remember how fortunate we all are.
